🧸 “Reparenting Yourself: A Journey to Better Parenting” is a transformative workshop designed to help participants explore and heal their inner child, ultimately leading to a more positive and effective parenting approach. This workshop recognises that childhood experiences can influence our parenting style unconsciously. By embarking on this journey of self-discovery and healing, participants can gain valuable insights into their past, unlearn harmful patterns, and develop the emotional tools necessary to build healthier, more nurturing relationships with their children.

🧸 Understanding Your Inner Child:

Participants will begin by delving into the inner child concept, gaining a deeper understanding of how past experiences and emotions continue to shape their adult lives and parenting approaches.

🧸 Healing Past Wounds:

Through guided experiential activities, participants will have the opportunity to confront and heal past wounds and traumas, which can often be triggers for unhealthy parenting behaviours.

🧸 Reparenting Techniques:

This workshop will provide practical tools and strategies for reparenting oneself. Participants will learn how to provide the care, love, and support to their inner child that they may have missed during their childhood.

🧸 Exploring Parenting Patterns:

A significant part of the workshop involves participants reflecting on their parenting style and identifying any negative patterns or behaviours they wish to change.

🧸 Effective Communication:

Participants will learn how improved self-awareness can lead to better communication with their children. Techniques for active listening, empathy, and open dialogue will be explored.

Meet Our Instructor: Natasha

Natasha’s upbringing in a traditional Indian joint family afforded her a unique opportunity to immerse herself in four distinct parenting styles: Authoritarian, Authoritative, Permissive, and Uninvolved, shaping her understanding of the dynamics of child-rearing from an early age.

From her youth, Natasha harboured a deep aspiration to embrace the role of a full-time stay-at-home mother. At age twenty, she tied the knot with her husband, Manoj, embarking on an exhilarating journey as a trailing spouse.

The arrival of her two children, Mannat (now 16) and Shaan (now 12) marked a pivotal moment in Natasha’s life. Faced with various parenting challenges, she discovered a burning passion for gathering modern parenting skills. 

Over the years, Natasha diligently cultivated her expertise through academic degrees, certifications, and licenses, enabling her to practice and teach effective parenting strategies. She developed a discerning ability to distinguish between what works and what doesn’t within diverse cultures. She generously shared her knowledge along her journey, offering invaluable assistance to numerous families grappling with similar challenges.

Having recently relocated to Dubai, Natasha continues facilitating in-person and online experiential training sessions for caregivers. Her mission is to empower them with the knowledge and skills to discipline children without punishment or humiliation, all while eliminating the reliance on rewards and bribes. Natasha’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of children and families radiates through her work, establishing her as a highly respected figure in parent education.
